Buy an electric kettle instead. It's quicker, and doesn't sit here with steaming hot water in a metal container,with all of the oxygen given up out of it. Freshly aerated oxygenated air in quickly heated water is what makes a good cup of tea. An instant hot tank will not provide that. It's for those that can't wait the 90 seconds to heat instant oatmeal in a MW not for those who care about beverage quality.

I had one. Didn't put it back in for the exact reasons that Holly says. The quality of the tea made from them isn't up to par. It's flat. And I don't eat enough oatmeal or anything else instant to really need those electric watts adding up. If I emptied it to jumpstart a pot of pasta, it would take almost half hour to be able to have the refilled tank be 100% fully hot again. Plus, they need a dedicated electrical outlet for them, which a lot of people don't have in a retrofit.

Nowadays, my tankless water heater will get water hot enough for that pasta jumpstart, and I use a MW and a glass teapot with fresh water when I want to brew more than a cup of tea.
