Soapstone Backsplash...

Someone had posted looking for ideas for a backsplash to go with soapstone. Here's a kitchen Candace Olsen did where she uses soapstones mosaics with it.

Blondelle-thought I replied but it was thru the link on the other post so it didn't show up here!
I love the mosaic look and like how it is a feature on the range wall. It really is such a unique look with the soapstone. Really beautiful!

I love Spanish/Mexican/Mediterranean tiles and I'd like to use them for the back splash with soapstone counters. Will this type of tile look weird with soapstone? The decorative tiles are for accent, behind the cook top mosaic, and/ or border; solid tiles will be dominant.
Thanks. This is my first post.I've read so much positive info about soapstone here; it's encouraging.I don't know anyone who has it.
