We are this close to being done (except for window coverings) -- I can taste it! Then I'll post Finished Kitchen photos and hopefully kind starpooh will include us in her blog.

But in this post there are some photos of our kitchen.

We have white perimeter cabinets with marble (Calacatta Extra) countertops and backsplash, a soft black (BM Onyx) island with maple butcherblock island, a sheer grey-blue (or blue-grey) paint (BM Pearl River) for the walls and ceiling (a 50% formulation for the ceiling) and (Restoration Hardware) polished nickel / glass hardware. (glass knobs on the doors and polished nickel bin pulls and appliance pulls)

I am pretty sure we'll have roman shades made of this:

Most likely the former, as we have the kiwi green tot chair and "control tower" (my older child's perch for helping cook / bake), and souleiado fabrics on the chair cushions.
