| When we found our Crate & Barrel steal of the year (that dining table for over 50% off) my husband told the sales gal he licked it. She had no idea what he was talking about. Glad you found your stone. Now you "can get on with it"! Whatever happened with the fusion when your salesperson got back from her vacation? I must have missed it. |

The fusion is STILL not there. After discussing it with my husband, we decided that a plainer counter and neat back splash would make us just as happy(and him happier since he wasn't as enamored with the Fusion as I was). He said he wanted black counters and stainless and red on the BS. I found that for him, we went to look at BLACK slabs and he found emerald pearl when he wandered away and fell in love with it. It was on my list of "blacks" but i had crossed it off since it looked off from the cherry bomb red he wanted. He said he'd give up the red for those counters, so that is what we are doing. We are most likely doing this mosaic with stainless. I still have a few samples I'm waiting on that may change our minds, but not so sure I will be swayed too easily:
So field of subway and square stainless in a pattern that is yet TBD and then strips of this or squares or whatever. We are still working on the details/waiting to see if we like the samples being sent better. |

| You licked it???? I must have missed something somewhere. The germaphobe in me is cringing. |

| Very funny! My kids would do that all the time when they didn't want to share. |

| I BEG YOUR PARDON? Just kidding. My sister Maria used to do this whenever there were two of anything - there were three of us at the time. When it comes to stone slabs, I think it's sufficient to stick a "sold" ticket on it. Congrats on your purchase. |

Of course I didn't really lick it!LOL It is a saying Bee has around here so noone takes the slab you want. They were tagged:-) Of course now a glass artist got back to me and I may be able to do custom tiles instead of buying these. I told my DH this this morning and he goes "I thought we were DONE!" and threw the covers over his head!LOL |

| I'm now going to have a problem NOT licking stuff that I love. Thanks. Pretty slab, even with the spit on it! |

| I didn't lick but applied spit to many to see how they'd look oiled. I didn't buy ANY of them. Nya nya nya! |
