Looks a lot like Baltic Brown. It's very durable and would have no issues with being outdoors.

Thanks Hollysprings. You're right, the mottled pattern looks very much like Baltic Brown. The granite bench seemed to have a lot more gray and pink tones, not really anything I'd call brown, but I know slabs vary quite a bit. Also, all the images I'm finding show interior shots, where the lighting is going to be very different. Here's another shot from farther away, if that helps anyone; it's the bench on the left.

So sorry for your loss. The granite bench looks like it could be Tristone Blue granite as seen in this picture from the marble.com website. I don't know about its durability but there are several stone experts on here that may chime in.

So sorry to hear about the loss of your husband. This stone will be a fitting tribute as it is very durable and will stand the test of time and the elements.

It's actual granite, although I don't know the commercial name for this one. The pink is a potassium-rich feldspar, the white is sodium-rich feldspar, the grey is quartz, and the black could be a couple of different things. All of those minerals are hard and strong and will last forever.
