We are working on a kitchen refresh with new countertop and floors. I started off liking the honed finish but recently started considering a color in the etched finish. I am concerned about cleaning both the honed and etched finishes, but don't like the flat finish. Salespeople look at me like I've lost my mind. Everything i see online about the etched laminate is only about countertops getting etched (damaged) because of something not cleaned properly.

Is it extra hard to clean etched or honed laminate?
