Laminate - honed or etched pros and cons

We are working on a kitchen refresh with new countertop and floors. I started off liking the honed finish but recently started considering a color in the etched finish. I am concerned about cleaning both the honed and etched finishes, but don't like the flat finish. Salespeople look at me like I've lost my mind. Everything i see online about the etched laminate is only about countertops getting etched (damaged) because of something not cleaned properly.

Is it extra hard to clean etched or honed laminate?

If you have etched or honed laminate, what are your likes and dislikes?

I have had Perlato granite etchings for about 5 years and it looks as good as new. Not difficult to clean at all.
