I have a Blanco Silgranit Sink in Anthracite (black). Love it. Yesterday it was looking a little worn, so I rubbed mineral oil on it. Looks brand new. Doesn't scratch. Seems pretty indestructable. I use my sink a lot. I had originally planned on getting a stainless sink but the ones that I see look pretty bad after awhile. I was very happy to discover my sink on this forum.

another vote for a granite sink. I looked at Blanco but went with Kindred as the size & colour was better for me. ( I wanted a light colour)
Only had it a few months now but looks great, cleans up well and i am thrilled i avoided the stainless steel

I've had my Blanco sink in black for 9 months now and it looks like the day it was installed. Very easy to keep clean-I wipe it dry last thing every night and treat with mineral oil about once a month-and it is very durable-no scratches, chips, dings, etc.

Thanks. After reading this and other posts/reviews, I am going to probably Bo with this type of sink. I am going to also look at Kindred since Blanco doesn't necessarily make the size I want.

One thing I forgot to mention. Consider getting a sink grid. I got one from Blanco in ss and I love it. There have been several posts about how great the grid is-it protects the sink, etc.
