What a cute mini kitchen. Loaded with lots of things most like in a kitchen and yet so well used for the amount of space.

Not my style at all. One of the goals of my kitchen remodel was to bring the cabinets up, so I wouldn't be tempted to put stuff on top of them.

To me, even pretty things above cabinets look cluttered.

I think it's a solution if you happen to have kitchen cabinets that don't go all the way up to the ceiling.

This was not planned like this from the beginning. Rather, it was a "storage upgrade" using:

4 small wine racks (more depending on the length of your shelf)
1 board, 1â³ x 12â³, cut to length
1 quart of paint (in satin or semigloss)
