That's a lovely kitchen, but it's too much visual clutter for me.
But I really don't count because I have lived with crap everywhere for so long, my shoulders are tensed up around my ears.

Your "expanse" really isn't. That's not a huge lot of cabinetry. What are you doing with your uppers?

Uppers will be painted cream color and mix of solid doors (no X grid) and glass front doors - no mullions.

Working on a tight budget and trying to update an '80's kitchen.

As I type this, I'm thinking it's just going to look too thrown together.
