Taking the lead from 2 other posters, maybe you can all help me too. I love this light I found online, but (1) it's already sold, and (2) it was $1300. I would need 3 at least, possibly 4. I'd like to keep that under $1000 for all of them. I couldn't even find another one online at all. I could only find clear. Thanks!
Note how the lightbulb hangs down in this one and it has the glass over the top. It is not the candle type lights that go upward.
Also, here's the link where I originally saw it. I already emailed and they don't have any more. http://www.genuineantiquelighting.net/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PR

| Beautiful! I can imagine that colored glass isn't cheap. I'll keep my eyes peeled. |

| Those are antiques, so I'm sure they are hard to come by. You could contact a local artisan and see if they can make you custom ones with the same look. |

| I'd look at import stores because they look a bit Turkish. Without the usual detail, but still definitely not run of the mill! |

| I love the blue glass I've always loved the look of those style fixtures, but then never got them as DH always called them bug catchers.... |

| Niche Modern has pale blue and pale purple Modernist versions of these but they are almost as expensive as your antique. Quite a bit different looking than these but somehow a similar feel. |
Different from Rejuvenation.

| The other thing that you could do is something like Rejuvenation's George, which is actually a cobalt enameled fixture but the ceiling canopy and brass is similar. The cobalt bell jars will actually cast very little light and it will be blue, so if you DO find them, they would be the "motivational" light but there would have to be recessed cans doing the real work. |

| Thank you! Lazygardens - the first one I have pinned already as a possibility but it might be too modern for me. Not sure. The second one is a bit modern for our style. Palimpsest - I will take a look at Niche Modern just to see them, but no way I can afford 4 if they're almost the antique price! But OMGosh! I love George! Those are gorgeous! And actually all our finishes are brushed nickel, which is what I'd prefer. And George comes in brushed nickel. They're kind of small - only 5" light. So I think I'd need 5 instead of 4. Tell me what you think - 3 of them over the island (6'x3') and then 2 of them over the table part of the island (5x5'), but I'm thinking diagonal over the table part. Attaching a picture so you can see the island. Give me your thoughts. Thanks for your help!

I love cobalt blue. Whatever you get will just be jewelry. |

We redid a bathroom for some folks a few years back, and that was the fixture they chose. Never knew it cost _that much_! It gave off about as much light on or off ;) Casey |

| I saw these in many colors at an antique store in India while I was shopping for doors. Didnt know they were so expensive! |

| The first thing I wondered was if you could make these yourself. How handy are you? I see a blue vase or bowl with a blue plate or lid and some chain and metal banding and a light kit. Whether or not you could find the right shapes I don't know, but price wise, you should be able to come in way under budget. Maybe it's not even possible. |

| A little while back, I pinned something on Pinterest about dying clear glass to look like it was originally like that. If you could get three inexpensive lanterns of that style, you could DIY the glass, after practicing on a wine bottle or two first. There is another version of instructions to click on the page for non-waterproof glass which you may want to do instead. Dying Glass |

| Just fyi I really love the look of blue lamp shades too. I ordered one for my daughter's room and packed it up that same night. The light it shed was *scary*! It was so deathly blanched out and frigid; I hated it. In fact, it was the same lamp I see in renovated Chase Bank branches everywhere now! It came from Lamps Plus. I don't know whether you'd encounter a similar problem but at the time I wondered why I couldn't find hardly any blue lamp globes and then I thought I understood why! This certainly cured me of any more such hankerings. For me, never again. YMMV. |

| I know this isn't nearly the same thing, but I saw these last night and thought I'd point them out. I'll link below:
