Arrangements of Appliances on one wall?

We are remodeling our u-shaped kitchen, knocking out one wall to put in a peninsula to connect with dining room. We are having a problem in the placement of the appliances. Does anyone have any pros or cons concerning putting fridge, stovetop, and microwave/oven on one wall? (This wall is approximately 10' 6", from beginning of a doorway to where it meets the bottom part of the "U" countertop.) I would love to see pictures with this type of design! The bottom part of the "U" of this kitchen has the sink with new double windows above them and do not want to tear them out. The peninsula - the other side of the "U" will be opening up to the dining room, and as of now, other than storage underneath, we have no definite plans. I know this goes against the traditional "triangle" of appliance layout in the kitchen, but can't think of any other way to place the appliances. Thanks so much for any guidance!

Sounds just fine as far as a work triangle. Can you provide drawing of other dimensions. What is counter edge length that sink is on? Counter edge lentgth of inner peninsula?

I would plan on having the cooking area between the sink and fridge. With no uppers cabs above peninsula and above sink (window), I would want to maximize storage and be sure to locate dwasher conveniently.

Drawers instead of cabinets on peninsula would help with storage for upper cabs you wont have

Thank you for your input. I will get dimensions for rest of areas tomorrow. We were going to put cabinets underneath peninsula. Dishwasher next to sink - haven't decided which side. I didn't know if it would work having fridge first, then stovetop, with countertop in between, then microwave/oven, or if it would be better with fridge and microwave/oven side by side, then countertop and stovetop?

10'6" for Refrigerator (37") + MW/Oven (33") + rangetop/cooktop (30")?

126" - 37" - 33" - 30" = 26" of workspace around the cooktop/rangetop.

I would have to see your layout, but I'm not sure this will work. It depends on how you arrange them.

Consider use patterns

Frig has stray traffic getting ice and drinks

Dishwasher need to be convenient to dining table AND prep area / sink

Range and oven isn't involved in snacks and can be furthest into the kitchen.

Our galley plan has the DW and the frig on opposite walls closest to the DR entrance, with sink in the middle of one wall and the range and wall ovens at the far end. Minimal crossing of paths

Since you are dealing with a run that short, you might be better off with a range instead of a cooktop and separate oven. That would save you 30". Your MW could then go either on a shelf in an upper cabinet, in a corner of the U (possibly using the Whirlpool corner MW), or above the range. As others have suggested, a drawing of your layout would help people visualize your space.

NOTE NOT TO SCALE since I only know length of your range wall as 10.5' so sink wall, peninsula lengths and colors are speculated. Just just a thought on basic layout idea.

As mentioned, not doing a wall oven means more upper cab space. I dont blame you on the sink window, so nice but means working the storage since that leaves only one wall of upper cabs. Lower drawers do more storage then cabinets.

If you hurting for storage, I know someone with cabinets hanging over their peninsula, may sound weird but they are really nice. Theyve glass on doors and not so low to interrupt the view. Something like:
