| I had always intended to get a Tapmaster once I moved in. I'm used to foot controls for sinks and I often wish I had it when I have "chicken hands" etc.
But getting one of the Touch faucets seems cheaper. Advantages/disadvantages? Anyone had both? |

| I have both- tapmaster in kitchen, touch in dog room. I like the tapmaster better. The Delta Touch gets turned off sometimes when my housekeeper cleans around the area and I don't notice and I am touching and it doesn't turn on. It also makes a noise when it turns off and on that I am not crazy about and it doesn't seem as convenient as just kicking at the bottom for whatever reason. Plus, I like that the tapmaster just goes on and then off when I'm not holding it in so I am not running the water whereas with the Touch, you have to touch on, touch off, touch on, touch off, etc. etc. |

| Our Touch lasted about 3 months. I was never able to fix it and Delta wasn't helpful at all. It's at a second home so I just gave up on it. |

| I went back and forth on touch vs tapmaster. I ended up ordering the Brizo Venuto for the kitchen and the Delta Lahara for 3 bathroom sinks. It sounds like the people love the Tapmaster, but I'm not used to using my feet to turn faucets on/off so I think for me the touch will be easier. But, truth be told, I think the biggest thing was that I couldn't bear the thought of drilling holes to install a Tapmaster in my brand new cabs. :) I linked to a prior thread I started on the Touch Sensitive faucets. There are quite a few threads on the Tapmaster too. Hope no one says anything here that makes me regret my decision... since I just set everything in stone yesterday! :) |
