Wondering if anyone has leathered marble counter tops in their kitchen? I am considering using a dark green with white streaks in it for the island and counter tops. How do you maintain/clean it and does it hold up? I want to put it with white cabinets and white subway tile back splash. But the question is whether to bring the tile all the way down to the marble counter top or to have a 1 inch marble back splash to "hold the seal" as the marble place suggests. I am not sure that it would look good with the white subway above it.
