Final countertop selection and backsplash

Although we had originally planned for a lighter countertop, we decided to go dark after shopping for stones. We think we are set on Steel Gray granite (aka Silver Pearl). I have also fell in love with a marble backsplash in a herringbone pattern. Do you think these elements go together well? (Note: lower cabinet in picture is lighter IRL)

The picture is an attempt at a mockup of the cabinets with countertop and backsplash.

Lower cabinets are walnut, natural stain;
Upper cabinets are white (BM White Dove)
