You need some steel supports.

You will need to support that end. Maybe you could consider extending that wall to the same length of the other supports - which would aesthetically match and also be practical.

Even if the wall were extended, it would need a cross piece linking it to the DW, and a ledger at the rear.

I'm anxious to hear people give ideas about steel supports. It's something I'm wondering about. Do I need to get them or should my granite guy get them? Are there choices or just 'steel supports'?

A cabinet would be excellent support. That span looks larger than the MIA specified 36". I'd use steel and paint it black.

Thanks. The space there is 40w * 35h * 24d inches. So, i just bought two unfinished cabinets to fit there. The first is 24w*24d*34.5h, and the second is 15w*24d*34.5h

This should give me a total of 39 imches i needed.
