Polished stainless stell cabinet pulls

I am considering long polished stainless steel pulls as I like the shiny look of them. I initially wanted chrome but couldn't find square long enough pulls. These polished stainless steel look as shiny as chrome.

Does anyone have this material for pulls? Does it hold up well? What about fingerprints?

Assuming the pulls are solid stainless steel (even hollow) and not just stainless steel finished they should hold very well.

Stainless steel exists solely to resist rust and wear. Plain steel, also called mild steel, is very strong but it rusts very easily. Stainless steel was developed much later specifically to solve the issue of rust. This is why it is used on boats and in industrial applications.

If price is an issue, the best selection of stainless or chrome contemporary pulls is at IKEA. The have numerous styles and sizes and no one can beat their price.

A shiny finish is going to show finger prints, there is no escaping that.
