| Thanks so much to the two of you! I'm in CA, what is the tile-shop's name? We have Typhoon Bordeaux granite, which seems to have the same colors in it as yours. I've been w/o BS for over a year! Although, it is in our vacation/retirement home, so I'm not living with it everyday. I'm sure I would have finished by now, if that were the case! :) |

It is called Tile Shop and the website is Tile-Shop.com which is different than the midwest Tileshop.com
Didn't quite get it ordered today - working on shipping as tiles weighs a lot! |

I called a few local stores and looked into shipping from the coasts - so hopefully will order soon.
My DH can't wait til it is finished. He said - I thought the tile was already ordered..... oops! |

| Sandesurf - West coast - Tile-shop.com carries it - (not tileshop.com) - I am currently working with Nelson out of Berkely. Your colors are so close to mine that it should look great - what is your countertop? It looks very close to mine (Cambria Buckingham) but hard to tell from the angle I like how you used accent pieces to add color - I plan to do that also. Here is a picture of ours to compare (one run) 
PS - no fair if you get yours in first! But I am betting you will! LOL |

| a2gemini, Our granite is called Typhoon Bordeaux. So, you're not going to use those the glass as a strip? You're cutting it up and placing it here and there? That was my first thought, of what I wanted! But, I kind of like the strip (ribbon?) around the whole thing too. Can't wait to see yours done!!!

Check out my post with the finished backsplash. I think it came out pretty good for a rookie!
It was not a DIY but just figuring it out caused a lot of angst! |

I did use the glass tile strip and then a few accents above the cooktop.

The field tile is Grazia Rixi Crema with Tec Antique grout
