White diamond quartzite

My husband and I are redoing our kitchen... The biggest obstacle has been finding the right counters...found a beautiful slab of calacatta gold but then found out how much it was going to cost... Now I am rethinking quartzite. I have yet to find a stone yard that carries calacatta macaubas quartzite but did find a slab the other day that was really white but I am afraid that it is too spotted looking? The stone yard called it white diamond. Anyone have this?
