(I'm trying this again as my other post subject may have been misleading...sorry to those of you reading a repeat post.)

Well, we got our floors stained a second time and they look awesome. A rich true brown that we've always wanted! It delayed the cabinet installation by a few weeks but it was worth it.

We also got a sneak peek at our cabinets that are being constructed. I don't have a pic of the sides but I love how the exposed sides also are finished with the same detail as the doors. The white ones are primed only - they will be painted Chantilly White by Benjamin Moore.

I'm so excited, it's all starting to happen!!!

This is what our floors looked like with the first stain attempt. Pretty but not what we wanted.

And now the after. My dream floors. They will look better once they get the three top coats in a satin finish.
