My husband and I are purchasing a home with all natural maple cabinets by Aristokraft. They are only 8 years old so not worth tearing out. We are looking to redo appliances and add granite tops and I'm having a difficult time choosing a granite color. I would like something to provide contrast to the natural maple cabinets and the light oak flooring, but I'm nervous about going with black as I've heard its hard to keep clean. Any suggestions? Photo ideas with what color granite was used would be great!

natural maple is so neutral that you can really just choose whatever color floats your boat. if i were you, i'd determine what i want my accent color(s) to be and then choose granite accordingly to either match or contrast.

Thank you so much for your help! The kitchen is coming along. New photos are on the attached link. The black range comes in this week and a black microwave will be here, too. I need to figure out the backsplash. I'm thinking travertine tiles...just need to find the right color and size. I'm also trying to figure out what light fixture to put over the sink and another ceiling light. Any ideas are welcome! Thanks!
