How should I layout tile?

Here is the general layout of my house:
I'm going with a running bond pattern. The run of cabinets on the sink side run 2 1/2 in shorter than the peninsula (measuring from the fridge side wall). The wood flooring goes into the kitchen a few inches because of this.
I'm thinking about just centering a full piece with the entrance to the kitchen. It would be centered with the end of the peninsula and the cabinets on the sink wall. Would it be better to center it with the laundry room door?
