I have stacked cabs with glass in upper-uppers. I did the same knobs on all doors and pulls on drawers. I'm kinda boring though

I have stacked glass uppers in one part of the kitchen. I have knobs on all doors and three different sizes of pulls based on the width of the drawers.

Same size pulls on all drawers and doors, even the small stacked ones.

Glass tops and solid lower both have the same knobs with pulls on the drawers. .

I did the same size pulls on all cabinets throughout the kitchen, even the stacked horizontal cabs on top.

My sil did 3 different types of hardware throughout her kitchen with stacked cabs.

I saw two kitchens recently that had used pulls and knobs on the bases and lower tier wall cabinets and latches on the top tier. It looked awesome.

In California (earthquake territory) the latches would be a great idea.

yep, I am doing latches on my upper uppers that have glass. Knobs on regular uppers and pulls on the drawers.

My latches have not been installed because I can't determine where on the upper upper part they should go???? In the middle, or bottom third, or even more toward the bottom similar to where knobs would have gone if I had used knobs?

Can anyone help?

here is a picture. I decided to put regular knobs on the stacked upper parts that do not have glass on a different wall. I think it was a good choice to make the glass ones a feature of the space and the others more like regular storage. Because the fridge bumps out compared to those cabinets it looks more natural that way to me (you can't see the fridge space in the photo but it is just to the left of the short cabinet run in the left of the photo).

Stacked (top) uppers have seedy glass inserts and knobs.
Tall uppers have longer pulls.
Shorter uppers have shorter pulls.
All hardware from same collection.

illini- I like the way that knob configuration looks. I might have Terry the Carpenter hold off putting knobs on my uppers too so I can see how that looks. It is a small difference but less busy...
I don't need latches here in South Texas, unless they start frack-a-lackin' under the nearby park for natural gas:)

We will have latches on the upper uppers. Will put them low (where a knob might be) so that they'll be easier to reach.
