I have the white. I am very pleased with it. It gets dirty, I wash it up with bar keeper's friend. Pots and pans leave silvery grey marks that look like scratches but they come right off with the BKF as well.

I find it much easier to keep this sink looking nice than my old Elkay stainless. All of those water spots made me nutso. As I already said, i am really happy with the Silgranit. Plus I have the Super Single, which is like a small bathtub - what's not to love!?

The grids should help a lot. I've only had my biscuit silgranit for less than a week but did quite a bit of research here on the boards before I chose it.

I made BBQ ribs the first day the sink and faucet was operational. We also had spaghetti this week. Both greasy messes cleaned out of the sink easily and pans & crock pot were easily accomodated. The grids keep the dishes off the bottom of the sink. I haven't run the dishwasher all week. Call me sick but I am enjoying this sink! I looked forward to it for a long time.

BTW, I cleaned the sink with dish soap and water but have heard to use barkeepers friend if it's a job too big for soap and water. HTH.
