One more question, what can be done with this backsplash edge?

I don't think this looks right, but not sure how to ask to be fixed. It's the way the backsplash comes up past the light valence and just ends, it looks choppy and awful. Can you help with suggestions? Thank you!

I think I would want a piece of Schluter edge mitred and returned to the cabinet across the top, lined up with the top of the light rail.

The Shluter edge would match what you have on the outside edge already.

An alternative would be to get a piece of narrow border tile and trim to fit. The place where you got that tile probably has something to match.

This is how we finished our edge....

Thank you. The tile guy just cleaned up the grout and put some silicone on it. Still not sure that's the best way to go, but it was done even though I told him I wanted to think about what to do. He didn't agree with the schluter edge, even though I mentioned it and don't see why he couldn't cut it down and attach it. He didn't seem to want to listen to ideas.
Thank you for your suggestions.
