DD and I stopped by the house today. The kitchen cabinets were mostly in and the installer was working on the details. (sorry about the not-great photo quality -- I think my flash was turned off)

This is the beverage area - the center cabinet needs to be re-hung. It is supposed to be higher than the adjacent cabinets...

This is the cooktop penisula that I forgot to photograph the other day...

Here is the island...

There is a spice pullout in the beverage area - added as a filler by the KD at the last minute. I'm not sure what to do with it, as my baking spices will be in the island and my cooking spices near the cooktop.

And here is the cabinet run between the sink and the cooktop...
