I would switch the pull and the knob. Put the knobs on the cabinet doors and the pulls on the drawers. The knobs would be vertical, the pulls horizontal.

in fact we are disagreeing on all the rectangular knobs in the house (a few, thank goodness some of our selections were round or square) here is another:

Allen- yes we are planning on pulls for drawers and knobs for drawers. It is the orientation of the knob we are disagreeing on. I won't say who wants what.

Mine are vertical.

Definitely vertical knobs on doors, and horizontal pulls on drawers.
