I am buying a new construction townhouse that was partially completed when I made the offer. For reasons I won't go into, I'm stuck with the granite that was already installed. It is called Rusty Yellow, also known as Sunset Gold. The house already has cherry cabinets and black appliances (all builder standard, no option to change out now without significant cost). I did get the builder to agree to put in a backsplash for me. The kitchen is an open galley kitchen that is smack dab in the middle of the first floor. the floors are a nice maple.

I don't care for the granite, but as I mentioned, I'm stuck with it for. The backsplash will only be on one wall so I'm not too worried about it being too dark. The granite is more yellow than a lot of the sunset gold I see online and the specks/flecks of rust and black are not tight - they are more spread out.

I was thinking something like Elida's Mosaic in Lava or possibly even Illusions Greenwich Village in Tiffany Blend. Any thoughts?
