great use of colour in a kitchen

I've long thought that the mostly-neutral-with-a-shot-of-colour formula is very successful. Colour works best when it has a lot of breathing room. Here's a great example of that in a kitchen, IMHO:

I love how the kitchen combines:

* abundant natural light
* a neutral base of white and wood
* fearless and fun use of accent yellow (asymmetric and random-looking) - so easy to DIY!
* fun red range (you have to know you can live with this one forever)
* grounding with the third primary colour - quiet navy backsplash

This would be very easy to adapt to a budget look - use white builder grade appliances and keep the accent colours to the cabinets.
