light rail pictures and info requested

for anyone, especially medallion, schuler, innermost owners, that did a light rail, could you post pics and info about size/scale? we had not planned to do a light rail at all but the bottoms of our medallion cabs look awful so we are now having the kitchen place do a light rail.
also if anyone has skins as well, pics and feedback on how you like them would also be appreciated.
we have a shaker style door in a dark wood. i tend not to like the light rails that stick out in the corners far beyond the cabinet so i am hoping pics will help me choose a style i will like

I agree with you about not sticking out beyond the cabinet, and my installer actually ordered a different kind of moulding for mine to be a bit plainer. Not dark wood, but here are my shaker style cabs. The light rail is installed "inside" or back behind the actual door (inline with the cabinet face). It measures 2" (compare that to my 3.25" rails/stiles).

Now that I look at it, I seem to recall they ordered more of the "frieze" material to use as my lightrail (the vertical part that the crown attaches to) because I didn't like the "busier" style that went with the shaker cabs I picked. My brand was Kitchencraft, so YMMV...
