what color grout?

We are finally getting our back splash installed and all along had thought we would match the tile however we are starting to wonder if we shouldn't go with a gray or contrasting color to add more depth to the back splash.

The granite in this picture looks more creamy beige than it really is. IRL its more white.

I vote to match tile, only because your counter appears to have plenty going on and I wouldn't want it to compete.

I vote to match the tile too. You'll still be able to see the pattern, it will just be tone on tone.

My sisters house was built in 1920, and she has all original subway tile in the bathrooms, and all the (original, by the way) grout (did they build houses back then or did they build houses) has turned grey, although it was once the same color as the tiles. Whenever I see grey grout chosen on purpose i always assume someone is trying for an antiqued look. This is my hang up, no one else's, but I wonder whether that aesthetic of grey grout will jive with your more modern kitchen vibe.

I'd go with white. Beautiful image btw. Can't wait for the reveal!
