Bleach?

When I had white laminate counters, thank heavens they're now granite, I had the best luck with soft scrub w bleach. Worked better than regular bleach, I think because the scrub was able to get the bleach into the surface. I didn't have any yellowing though, just staining and dirt from everyday use. I would test first.
Another suggestion, if you have hard water, it could be rust. Try a rust remover that's safe for laminate.
Bar keepers friend might work too. I've used it on the counters with decent results.

Great, I have all of those products on hand. I'll gather them up and give them all a test.

I don't think it's rust, it's more of an all-over vaguely yellow tinge. It could be the original color, or it could be my imagination. Or it could be total renovation fatigue! :)

Baking soda. Scrub with it dry and if that doesn't work, wet a paper towel or dish cloth and scrub the baking soda with that.

Have you tried any products with peroxide? Maybe some Oxy-Clean or something like that? I would be tempted to mix some baking soda and peroxide and try to make a poultice-y thing to leave on the laminate. Seems like that might be a little tricky on a vertical surface, though.

Oh, good. There is a GIANT bag of baking soda there, now I know what to do with it. :)
