Thanks for making them bigger. My slab is the first one which has more red than gold. When I looked at the slab the red veins/swirls seemed look really nice with my cabinet color. But I seem to be second guessing everything now!!!

I think the slab you picked has too many reddish/pink/peach tones and also has a lot of specks, which is not as pleasing to me. The second photo with more gold looks much nicer with your cab. I like the colors better and the larger format chinks.

Both are very pretty colors, but a slab with more golden hues such as the second photo may be more appropriate. It's warmer and further away from the cabinet color to offset it nicely, yet still has some burgundy clusters to tie-in the color at the same time. Hope that makes sense.

You have two posts going on and it's confusing. maybe post the second set of pics on the other post as well. Can you reset the second pic with the cabinet standing up against the granite like it will in a kitchen? I'm one who voted against the first combination. I don't know about the second one.

Now I'm confused. Are both of those granites the same? The one in the second photo looks entirely different.

The first combo "goes" but will give you a pink kitchen. Do you want a pink kitchen?

Now that I looked over the two images again, both images may be the same slab of Madura Gold under different lightning. Waiting for clarification from the OP.

if you see my post "love the granite and love the cabinets do they work together" you'll see actual pictures. The granite isn't really pink, it actually has lots of colors like a Bordeaux.

Pics in other post look pink to me, too. Either the pics are off, which is certainly possible online, or you're not seeing the pink. But the pics you posted are certainly pink.
