Framless cabinets: Cup hinge Vs non mortise hinge?

In my kitchen, I am going with frameless cabinets with slab doors, which when opened should be at a 170 or 175 angle opening.

I would be grateful for views on pros and cons of a cup hinge Vs non mortise hinge (which will not need cutting into the wood/ chipwood) and which would be preferable.

With a slab door I would think that the door is going to be made out of MDF, no question I would go with the cup hinge, preferably a "inserta" type hinge that expands in the hinge hole to hold it in place instead of relying on screws holding in the MDF

Cup hinges. If you don't use the Inserta, I'm not a fan of them just based on instinct, be sure to use ones that take a plastic insert that the screws will go into. The plastic insert sits tight and expands further when the screw is placed.
If your doing a DIY get the doors predrilled. If DIY and your drilling it yourself this can be exacting.
