| This may seem silly but I received a really good deal locally on an undermount sink and am getting new laminate counters. How can I mount this as a drop-in sink and make sure it doesn't ruin the particle board on the new counter? Same goes for mounting the faucet directly to the counter?
Thank you for all the help ahead of time! http://www.ruvati.com/product-p/rvh7401.htm |

| There isn't enough lip on an undermount sink to overmount it. If the issue is the laminate, here are some sinks that were undermounted to laminate: http://www.kitchenandresidentialdesign.com/2011/11/undermount-sinks-wi th-laminate-counters.html |

| Wow, that is very cool how they are doing that! Looks like it may cost quite a bit to get that done right though. By not enough lip do you mean that the amount metal in the lip wont be able to support the weight of the sink? Or that it wouldn't fit a standard 33" overmount hole? Thanks again! |

| The lip won't be able to support the sink. As for cost of undermounting on the laminate, no clue. You could always call kitchen places and see if they do it. |
|
| Undermount sink in laminate typically 4-600 including the sink. No one I deal with will mount a sink they do not supply. |

| Hi azishot, You posted a link to a Ruvati sink. Is that the sink you got? I would love to know your thoughts on it. I am also thinking of getting a Ruvati sink but would like to get some real user experiences. |
