Can wet location white baffle recessed lighting kits be used in the kitchen or will it look strange.

Not sure what a "wet location" white baffle is but the light over my kitchen sink is a white baffle. Can you post a photo?

RE: Recessed lights in kitchen

My last home had one in the shower. I never trusted that thing and it kept going out. Something about the insulation around it. There must be a special option for this as I do see baths/shower with them.

As for your look, would need a pic of the baffle and your kitchen to understand. There may be others that know exactly what you are asking for.

RE: Recessed lights in kitchen

@technicolor - It was probably overheating, since it probably was not rated for contact with insulation. It was shutting itself off instead of overheating and starting a fire.

As for OP's question, not sure why you would need a light fixture rated for wet locations for a kitchen.
