That sounds like a nightmare to me. I have polished nickel cup pulls and wiped one down with a damp rag and it tarnished. So that would be a concern. I'd also be completely freaked out about scratching it. Would this be for the kitchen?

I know my answer could be controversial. I believe there is NO nickel plated copper sink made that will last a long time. Plated materials will never be durable enough to deal with daily use in a kitchen sink. Check the warranty. I doubt there will be one longer than a year. I have had quite a bit of second hand experience in this regard. I have spoken to people who have had these sinks and the plating wore off fairly quickly in areas. I have also spoken to a plater that does this kind of work. He said that he offers no warranty at all because he knows the plating will eventually fail. Since this comment may sound self serving, I will list the company who does this type of plating. You can call them for yourself.
