First I would call Kohler so there is a record of the issue and so you can get a feel for how receptive they are to taking care of the issue.

If there is a dimple with iron showing through it will rust so I would definitely want it replaced. Will your builder be involved or did you purchase the sink on-line?

I just noticed it's you, threeapples, geez. So many issues, so unfair! Why would they install a defective sink. I think your builder is responsible for having a new one re-installed. The plumber should not charge you again since he missed it and installed a faulty sink. They know perfectly well, with iron.

And will issue us a replacement through faucet direct. The builder did not caulk it in, thank goodness!!! So glad I pursued this.
