Need help - Countertop color? Clear walnut vertical grain?

I am having second thoughts... I am in hell...

Slab doors walnut vertical quarter sawn with lighter countertops.
I picked Blizzard from Caesarstone but now I am questioning whether it's not too white and the contrast too strong? The space is small 10x13'5.
I also want the backpslash to be a warm color ( green etc.) to break the ultra modern look since the house is not too modern and has old oak nice but goldish hardwood floor which I am not planning to re-stain soon. Thank you!
PS I am attaching a pic of the current kitchen

pick something from the" light brown or tan brown" categories on the caesarstone palette. It's the contrast from wood look surfaces to a stark white and then a 3rd color in backsplash choice that will make it look smaller-breaks in color groupings. I think those medium tones would allow for a lot of good backsplash treatments other than green.

Great advice! Thank you! My initial idea was the white counter-top will make the space looks bigger and brighter... Decisions, decisions...
