Dying a corian countertop?

I have a dark blue corian counter top that was bleached heavily in one spot. I stupidly left some toilet bowl cleaner on top of it, and some of the cleaner leaked onto the bottom of the container on the corian. It's strong stuff and it sat there for several days before I cleaned it up. Now there's a much much lighter area compared to the rest. My guess since it sat there so long is that it would take a huge amount of sanding to get underneath the bleached area, but I could definitely be wrong.

So, does anyone have any idea if it would be possible to dye that area of the countertop? I feel like I'm grasping at straws here... I'm guessing I'll have to either sand it or replace it cause dye would probably make it unevenly colored assuming it even works on corian.

Thanks for any help!
