Kirchen Aid French Door Refrigerator with Cabinet Panels

Posted by ginabmg (My Page) on

Anyone out there have a Kitchen Aid French Door bottom freezer refrigerator paneled to match your cabinetry? I would love to see how this looks... anyone have a picture available to post???

Is it only on the front or does it wrap around the door at all?

I guess I didn't do my homework thoroughly enough b/c I just realized there will be a 3 inch black strip showing on the sides of the doors (or so I think - can't get ahold of my cabinet rep today)..

Thanks for all your help!

Here are a couple of photos of our Kitchenaid French door Frig. with custom panels. The model number of our Frig is KFC022EVBL. The panels do not wrap around and you will see the blank trim on the sides of the doors. We have had this unit installed for over a year and we are very happy with it.

I hope this helps.

Thanks so much! It does help a lot and I think it looks nice! We have been using the refrigerator w/o the panels on for a week now and I really do like it a lot (especially when it was beeping when someone hadn't shut the door)... it's too smart!
