Countertop and backsplash help

I have selected Kraftmaid Durham cabinets in dove white on the perimeter with an island in Kraftmaid greyloft. The island is Cambria Whitney. For the perimeter, I am considering one of these options : (1) Cambria fieldstone (2) soapstone (3) Cambria Whitney so island and perimeter are the same. Would love to receive advice on which countertop would look the best as well as any suggestions for the backsplash. Thank you.

cambria whitney isn't dynamic enough for the island....try something like new quay or ferndale...the perimeter counter whether soapstone or the cambria choice /along with light and gray sections of cabs are giving you 3 areas of just white/gray...get something else for the island with more activity and color tone for the top.IMO.
