Brown countertops (marble/quartzite)

I am trying to find a perimeter countertop material as I plan to do Calcutta Gold on island. I really do not want black granite,I have that now and looking for a change. Soapstones are too grey and green to match the rest of my house. White cabinets. Any options for brown that aren't granite or manmade? Thanks a million.

agree with BBDF. Based on the criteria you've given, do the Calcutta Gold around the perimeter and do a butcher block island. Will look quite luxurious--I can see Martha whipping up some "good thing" in that kitchen.
