A light grey might be nice. The classic combo is the white tiles though. White tiles, but with black accents or a border?

I'm getting honed jet mist too. I liked the marble subway tiles & crackle subway tiles too. I was thinking of keeping it whitish because I will have medium stained wood cabinets.

I'm definitely drawn to the grey tones and the marble may be an option. The marble adds a depth of color without being too colorful.

Anyone with marble subway tiles care to comment on how they are to keep clean?

I have honed jet mist too.
The pics below are not all JM, some are polished and
some are just black but at least it will give you
