Which brand of Kitchen Cabinets to choose

I am new to the kitchen remodel process. For cabinets, the KD has suggested Bertch Legacy or Diamond as a second choice. I don't know how to compare these two cabinets without extensive research. Does anyone have any experience or opinions on these two brands?
I already know that Legacy cabinets are not available with a "rub" distress. To get that effect, I would have to move up the custom cabinet line. Diamond seems to offer a rub. I also noticed that Diamond has toe kick drawers. Chime in GW's.

I'm sorry I don't know either of these brands. Try reposting with a more specific subject line ie. Bertch vs. Diamond. You might get some more responses.
