decently priced natural stone subway tiles for kitchen backsplash

our budget is slowly coming together and we are estimating $5-$10 (yes, thats a huge spread, we're still trying to refine the budget hahaha!) per sqft for the kitchen backsplash. i really like the look of a natural stone subway tile with some kind of accent pieces thrown in. what are some recommendations within this pricepoint? pics would be helpful too! tia!

Is this what you mean? Crema Marfil tumbled marble..Arizona Tile carries this for $9 per sq. foot. I don't have a digital camera, and this 35 mm. picture doesn't do it justice.
