Stainless Steel backsplash?

Hello,

We were wondering if anyone has had any experience with stainless steel backsplash? We are more interested in the patterned kind instead of just sheets. We are unsure of whether they will look good or not with what we plan to do with the kitchen. I will post some pictures!

We just stained the old cabinets a dark wood color:

This is the hardware we plan to use (taken before we stained everything):

We designed our own ss mosaic for the 1st 6" of our backsplash, and then used ss mosaic sheets up the rest of the wall. I think it might still be visible in the picture archives under AnnaA's kitchen. If not, let me know and I will relearn how to post pics. (=

We are so happy with our choice. Everytime I shine it up and turn on our undercab lights in the evening, it just shines and makes me happy.

I was in love with a basketweave stainless backsplash, but vetoed it after visiting with the sample for some time. It's stunning under the right lighting conditions, but its grey color read quite dark during the day, and I was aiming to lighten a dark corner of the house.
