Recycled stone countertops get a new life

Here is an idea I like. A company buys up remnant stone from the local fabrication shops, then re-uses them as tile, landscaping stone, or stone veneer. They use both granite and marble, with applications for interior and exterior.

I just came across this and I think it's a nifty idea. I love landscaping with stone, and this gives me an interesting alternative source for materials. It also eases the environmental impact of using stone, since there is at least a slim opportunity for reuse.
