I don't think I'd want a slant sink. You would have to lean over more to get at the bottom the sink and that top edge would be pressing up against you.

There are still sinks being made with a slanted front. I think the slant (for me anyway) takes away the purpose of the apron which is to bring you closer to the basin. The slant would also mean it pushes you further away from the faucet so you would have to lean over a little more. If you're of an average height with average arm length maybe that's okay, but I'm short and have short arms.

I just looked through my vintage kitchen sources and did not see many with a slanted front. If they did with those materials (mostly native to the NE) I'm going to guess they had hired help. Maybe if they did have a slant it was to fit more pieces of food to clean or soak (veggies and meat).
