Personally, I like the off white. But either will be fine and it is your choice. It will assist you to make your choice if you do up a sample board of both, with grout and then look at from farther back.

Will you have UCL? Definitely try the sample boards with your UCL, and day vs. night makes a big difference. White and off white together is a tricky one for me to get right. Your picture has varying shadows, which made me ask about UCL.

It is hard to choose. I agree with localeater & I think it would be worth the effort to get more samples & make sample boards. Much easier than having the wrong one installed & living with something you don't like or having it removed & replaced.

We will have UCL. I asked if we could do a mockup and my contractor said he can't do a mockup. I don't know why, but that's pretty much been his answer for everything along the way. We're hoping to move in next week so we don't have time for a sample board. Ugh!

I vote for the tile on the right.

With your warm white cabinets and cool gray/white counters I'd go with the whiter tile. If you can't match things exactly I think you need more white shades to show you weren't trying (to match that is).

On my monitor the left sample is looking a bit pink, if someone put a gun to my head I would pick the whiter right sample ... you don't have to make that decision today ... you can wait till everything else is in place ... unless your contractor IS holding a gun to your head!! ;-)

Off topic, can you get those outlets on the same level? the one on the right looks lower than those on the left. It will really show up when you tile.

I would connect the bs to the counter, offseting the pretty cream cabinets with some contrast. That's the more natural relationship. So if the white is good with the counter, that's my vote. You need more of the white for a sparkling white kitchen. The other looks mellow.

Agreeing that the whiter choice will give you a better outcome. The pinkish undertone in the other one will bring out the pinkish color in the cabinets
