I always put my shakers on top of my oven and they fall off and spill. These are cool! They don't look HUGE either. I think I need them. :)

I thought stainless was stainless because it was so low in iron. Did the magnets stick to it without any backing?

Good point re the stainless, meaning that my hood is made of goodness knows what, as these little grinders don't stick to my fridge, nor my faucet. But, they do stick to my stove. Another idea- stick them to the sides of a metal spice rack, or to a strip of metal installed on the inside of a cupboard door....(my salt shaker used to topple too - I found it really annoying)

I had these and really liked them because I could just stick them on the fridge. But they only lasted about a year before they broke :( Not an arguement against them - just a warning!
